Strouds and back

This morning I watched the 115th Boston Marathon and left the tv feeling buzzed with excitement from both the men's and women's race. I immediately laced up the shoes and ran an old favorite route of mine through Athens-- The infamous "Strouds and back." Winding streams and beautiful quiet views peppered with obnoxious yet harmless mange muts.

Only in Athens will you see a dude dressed like the lead singer of ZZ-Top driving a Toyota Prius.

Nevertheless today I am proud to say 'I am runner.'
